By utilizing new materials and technology, this series highlights the evolution and preservation of the Assyrian culture. Each piece is adorned with variations of rock-like textures that pay homage to its ancient roots and painted with vibrant colors that combine ancient and contemporary palettes. The background, which symbolizes the transformation of Assyrian history from fully visibility to no visibility, features 10 out of the 15 pieces adorned with a collage of printed, cut, stained, and rearranged ancient Assyrian reliefs that are either half visible or fully visible. This creates a sense of depth and transition, illustrating how Assyrian culture has evolved and transformed over time.
