Description
The distilled series began as a search for new compositions. Referencing ancient Assyrian art, I cropped in tight on some details and abstract shapes emerged. Shapes are filled with vibrant color combinations with thin ragged lines outline each shape. Strewn over the composition are confetti like textures that reference Akitu parade celebrations.
