Description
In the course of my creative process, inspiration often strikes at the most unexpected times, usually at night. The image “Cosmic Cliffs” in the Carina Nebula, taken by the NASA Webb Space Telescope, left me in wonder. The image had a unique quality that inspired me to create it. The cosmic landscape image was overlaid on Syriac letterforms (Allap, Taw, Waw, Resh) that read ATOUR, which is the Syriac word for Assyria. This type of artwork is often driven by impulses that lead to the creation of original and unimagined works of art that can inspire the next generation. This artwork was named by Juliana Khamo.
